The Chamber reported to the federal budget for the expenses of past Olympic Games in Vancouver. According to estimates of specialists, each of the Olympic medals has cost Russia at 388 million rubles. Plus 10 million for each Paralympic medal. Total budgetary expenditures exceeded 6 billion rubles. Also, the auditors state that the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Russia its mission to prepare for the Olympics all failures - normal system of preparation for the Games in the country was not. And, most worryingly, a sincere desire to develop such a system in the Ministry has not yet seen.
